This wine is the product of the harvest, maceration and vinification of Syrah grapes, which rises within an alluvial basin reclaimed in the 1930s, and which is therefore totally flat, sheltered from the winds and exposed to continuous sunlight.

Origin: Mazara del Vallo (Sicily).
Soil: Clayey and sandy.
Vinification: Fermentation for 2 weeks in steel vats.
Aging: 4 months in steel, 4 months in 500 liter French oak tonneaus and finally at least 6 months in the bottle.
Alcohol content: 14%
Serving temperature: 18/20 °C
Recommended pairings: Sicilian cuisine, baked lamb, grilled meats, baked anelletti with aubergines and pork sausages, semi-mature pecorino cheese with black pepper. The combination with Mediterranean fish and shellfish is noteworthy, from Mazara Red Gambero to Tuna and Swordfish.
