TERRE SICILIANE FRAPPATO IGT "CHIARESTELLE" 2016 - TENUTA SANTO SPIRITO
The one of the frappato is one of the most important native red grape varieties of all the Sicilian lands. Characterized by very fragrant berries with a thick skin, offers aromatic and pleasant wines, rich in fruit and particularly indicated to replace whites in combination with fish, when the latter would not support the combination, as for example in the preparations that include the tomato. Produced by the "Tenuta Santo Spirito" winery, the "Chiarestelle" is, in fact, a Frappato vinified in purity, and supported by a fruity freshness that will please you from the first sip to the last drop.
Clear and brilliant ruby red with a glass. The nose is pleasant and clean, characterized by a fruity and floral olfactory bouquet, that leaves in particular memories of lavender and red berry fruit. On the palate it is fresh and soft at the same time, of good balance and good harmony, long in persistence.
To be combined with structured fish and tomato, it is perfect together with the swordfish from Messina.
